Chelsea fans have to splash the cash!

Chelsea football fans live up to their big spending reputation by paying the most when going to watch their team play in the group rounds of the UEFA Champions League   Out of all the UK teams competing in the UEFA championships, it’s Chelsea that’s drawn the short straw when it comes to prices fans pay to support their club according to the average room prices listed in the 2012 Hotel Price Index from Hotels.com.   Reigning champions Chelsea have rubbed off some of their more indulgent tendencies on to their fans with the amount they will have to fork out as watching their team at all home and away games against Donetsk, Juventus and Nordsjaelland will set fans back a whopping £333 if they stay in hotels both in their home town of London, but also in Italy for the away game against Juventus football club.    Chelsea Fixtures and prices according to Hotels.com HPI 2012:

  Fans of frugal football club Arsenal won’t be pleased with the amount they’ll have to pay to go and see their team compete to go through to the next round.
